How to Download Pinterest Idea Pins & Multi-Page Stories with Audio

What Makes Pinterest Idea Pins & Story Pins Different?

Unlike a standard single-file video pin, Pinterest Idea Pins and Story Pins are structured as multi-card interactive sequences. A single Idea Pin can combine up to 20 vertical 9:16 cards—mixing 1080p video clips, voiceover narration, background music tracks, and high-resolution instructional graphics.

Because each slide is stored as a separate media node inside the pin's JSON manifest, generic downloaders often fail or only extract the very first 3-second cover clip. That is why PinFetcher provides two purpose-built utilities: the Pinterest Story Downloader and the universal Pinterest Pin Downloader.

How to Save Multi-Slide Idea Pins & Stories in Full HD

1. Copy the Idea Pin or Story URL: Open the multi-page pin on Pinterest, tap the Share icon, and select Copy Link.
2. Paste into PinFetcher Story Downloader: Go to the Pinterest Story Downloader (or Pin Downloader) and paste your link.
3. Save Individual Cards or Video Streams: PinFetcher extracts the clean 1080x1920 vertical stream without the overlaid Pinterest username watermark or end-screen bumper card.

Repurposing Your Own Idea Pins Across TikTok, Reels & Shorts

Many creators edit their vertical tutorials directly inside the Pinterest mobile studio. However, when you use Pinterest's native download option, it burns a bouncing watermark and an outro slide onto your video—which algorithms on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts actively demote.

By fetching your published pin through PinFetcher Story Downloader or Pinterest Video Downloader, you recover the clean, watermark-free 9:16 master MP4 ready for cross-platform publishing.
